The Short Version
Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco raised in Dallas, Texas I first learned to communicate visually by drawing my way into friendships when I couldn’t speak their language. I got my big break in seventh grade after I submitted a plagiarized T-shirt design for my orchestra class that everyone ended up wearing. Later, I earned my degree in Communication Design from the University of North Texas where I studied art history, psychology, and anthropology. There, I worked for UNT’s Health & Wellness Center and planed, designed, and produced health & wellness outreach campaigns for the student body.
My childhood experiences and education have shaped everything I've made since: design that crosses cultural lines, connects with real people, and earns trust. With over a decade of experience working with global agencies and in-house departments, tackling business problems with creative strategies has allowed me to direct photoshoots, help develop award-winning guerrilla campaigns, produce national packaging, craft brand identities, and everything in between.
Now I bring that senior-level expertise directly to chief marketing officers, brand managers, entrepreneurs, and product managers looking to solve their marketing obstacles.
